SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT AS AN AREA
OF HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO MOVE OFF TO THE EAST. THESE WINDS WILL
BRING IN MORE LOW LEVEL MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY...WHILE LOW
PRESSURE STRENGTHENS OVER THE WESTERN HIGH PLAINS. SCATTERED SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE ACROSS THE
AREA TONIGHT AND CONTINUE FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. BY FRIDAY EVENING
LOW PRESSURE SHOULD BE APPROACHING CENTRAL KANSAS. THIS LOW WILL
THEN TRACK INTO NORTHEAST KANSAS BY SUNRISE SATURDAY.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT...MAINLY IN THE 40S...SAVE FOR COLDER TEENS
FAR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND WARMER MID 50S SOUTHERN KANSAS.  HIGHS
ON FRIDAY...IN THE 50S AND 60S...SAVE FOR COOLER 40S NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL MINNESOTA...AND WARMER LOWER AND MID 70S FOR MUCH OF KANSAS.
FOR EASTERN NEBRASKA AND WESTERN IOWA...LOWS MID AND UPPER
40S...HIGHS UPPER 50S AND LOWER 60S.
