SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN AREAL
COVERAGE LATER TODAY...AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE LIFTS INTO THE
CENTRAL PLAINS.  AS THE ENVIRONMENT CONTINUES TO
DESTABILIZE...STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE
THIS AFTERNOON...MAINLY ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA AND EXTREME
SOUTHWEST IOWA. THE PRECIPITATION ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE
THEN THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS.

HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR THIS AFTERNOON WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 50S
OVER THE UPPER MIDWEST...TO MID TO UPPER 70S IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS.
LOWS FOR TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 20S OVER THE UPPER
MIDWEST...TO THE LOWER 60S IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS.
