RAINFALL...

THE TEMPERATURE IN NASHVILLE AVERAGED 62.1 DEGREES IN APRIL WHICH
IS 3.1 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE AVERAGE HIGH WAS 72.8 DEGREES AND
THE AVERAGE LOW WAS 51.4 DEGREES. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE WAS 85
DEGREES ON THE 8TH AND THE COOLEST WAS 34 DEGREES ON THE 5TH. A
NEW RECORD WAS SET FOR THE HIGHEST DAILY MINIMUM TEMPERATURE ON
THE 9TH WHEN THE LOW FOR THE DAY WAS 69 DEGREES. PREVIOUS RECORD
WAS 65 DEGREES LAST SET IN 2011. BASED ON THE NASHVILLE WEATHER
DATABASE...EXTENDING BACK TO 1870 THIS WAS THE LONGEST STRETCH
WITHOUT A THUNDERSTORM EVER RECORDED.
