...The flood warning continues for much of the lower Ohio River
   affecting areas in Indiana...Kentucky...Illinois and Missouri...

.Minor flood conditions persist along the lower Ohio River from
Owensboro Kentucky downstream to the confluence of the Mississippi
River. A slow improvement is starting along portions of the river
with falling conditions Owensboro and the Newburgh Dam in Indiana.
Cresting is occurring now, or forecast to occur between today and
Wednesday evening from Mount Vernon, Indiana downstream to Cairo,
Illinois.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio or your local media for further statements and possible updated
forecasts.

* Flood Stage is 40.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is cresting at this time and is forecast
  fall to below flood stage tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 41.0 Feet...Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
  bottomland and surrounding low lying areas.

* At 11 AM Monday the stage was 45.1 feet.
* Flood Stage is 38.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will is forecast to fall below flood stage
  Friday afternoon.
* Impact...At 46.0 Feet...Highway 662 near the old Lock and Dam 47
  begins to flood. This is approximately 1/2 mile downstream from the
  current lock and dam.
