WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
255 PM CDT SUN APR 12 2015

HIGH PRESSURE HAS PUSHED OFF TO OUR EAST IN THE MID ATLANTIC STATES
TODAY WHICH HAS LED TO A SOUTHEAST WIND DEVELOPING BRINGING IN
WARMER AIR. AFTER MORNING LOW TEMPERATURE IN THE MID 40S TO LOW 50S
TEMPERATURES HAVE WARMED NICELY INTO THE 70S THIS AFTERNOON. FOR THE
MOST PART MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES HAVE BEEN PRESENT BUT SOME HIGH CLOUDS
HAVE DRIFTED IN FROM THE NORTH AND WEST ASSOCIATED WITH A
DISTURBANCE PUSHING ACROSS MISSOURI. PRECIPITATION WITH THIS SYSTEM
HAS STAYED OFF TO OUR NORTHWEST AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO THROUGH
THE EARLY OVERNIGHT HOURS.

A COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE HEARTLAND ON MONDAY WITH PRECIPITATION
CHANCES RETURNING THROUGHOUT THE DAY INTO THE EVENING. HIGH PRESSURE
BUILDING INTO NORTHERN ILLINOIS ON TUESDAY WILL LEAD TO WINDS
SHIFTING AROUND TO THE NORTHEAST AND DRIER AIR MOVING BACK IN.
DESPITE THIS OUR SOUTHERN COUNTIES STILL HAVE A SLIGHT CHANCE AT
RAIN ON TUESDAY. SOUTHWEST FLOW ALOFT WILL BE IN PLACE THIS WEEK
ALLOWING MULTIPLE WEAK DISTURBANCES TO PASS THROUGH RESULTING IN
SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES NEARLY EVERY DAY FROM WEDNESDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY. THERE WILL BE DRY PERIODS AT TIMES WHILE
TEMPERATURES REMAIN NEAR AVERAGE IN THE UPPER 60S TO 70S FOR HIGHS
AND UPPER 40S TO 50S FOR LOWS.
