SUNDAY STARTED OUT WITH CLEAR SKIES ACROSS THE INTERSTATE 64
CORRIDOR ACROSS SOUTHERN ILLINOIS AND SOUTHWEST INDIANA. CLOUDY
SKIES SOUTH OF THAT AREA WERE SLOWLY CLEARING INTO THE AFTERNOON
HOURS. MOST OF THE RAINFALL AMOUNTS FROM LAST NIGHTS STORMS RANGED
FROM JUST A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH, TO A COUPLE OF AMOUNTS NEAR
OR ABOVE THE ONE INCH MARK, GENERALLY WHERE THE HEAVIER STORMS
OCCURRED. SUNDAY MORNING LOWS WERE IN THE MID 40S UNDER CLEAR
SKIES TO THE LOW 50S ELSEWHERE. MID AFTERNOON HIGHS WERE IN THE
LOW TO MID 50S IN MANY COMMUNITIES.

MOST OF THE UPCOMING WEEK WILL BE DOMINATED BY SURFACE HIGH
PRESSURE ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION. THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT
CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI ON
TUESDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS TRACKS EAST ALONG THE GULF COAST
STATES. OTHERWISE, DRY CONDITIONS ARE CURRENTLY FORECAST FOR THIS
WEEK. HIGH AND LOW TEMPERATURES THROUGH AT LEAST THE MIDDLE OF
THE WEEK WILL REMAIN SOME 5 TO 10 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR THIS
TIME OF YEAR. A SLIGHT WARMING IS EXPECTED BY FRIDAY.
