WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
436 AM CDT SUN APR 12 2015

HIGH PRESSURE WAS IN CONTROL ON SATURDAY, WITH PLENTIFUL
SUNSHINE, LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS, AND MILD TEMPERATURES.

HIGHS ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON RANGED FROM 65 DEGREES AT OWENSBORO TO
71 DEGREES IN PADUCAH, BOTH IN WESTERN KENTUCKY. BY 4AM CDT,
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 40S ALONG THE INTERSTATE 64
CORRIDOR TO LOWER 50S IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL SLOWLY MOVE TO THE EAST OF THE QUAD STATE
REGION TODAY. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE TOWARD THE AREA MONDAY
MORNING, BRINGING A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
DURING THE DAY. A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS WILL LINGER INTO MONDAY
EVENING.

MOST OF THE REGION WILL DRY OUT ON TUESDAY, BUT AN AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE MOVING FROM THE SOUTHWEST INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL
KEEP ENOUGH MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY IN PLACE TO PRODUCE A FEW
SHOWERS ALONG THE SOUTHERN QUARTER OF THE QUAD STATE REGION.

THIS WEAKENING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE, COMBINED WITH ANOTHER LOW
MOVING OUT OF THE CENTRAL ROCKIES AND INTO THE PLAINS, WILL KEEP
WEATHER CONDITIONS UNSETTLED THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE WORK
WEEK. PERIODIC CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE DURING THIS TIME PERIOD.
