WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
500 AM CDT THU APR 16 2015

WEDNESDAY SAW A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION.
AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LIFTED NORTHEAST ACROSS SOUTHERN
AND EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE AREA OVERNIGHT. EARLY THIS THURSDAY
MORNING...TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S.

A WEAK UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL KEEP A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS IN THE FORECAST TODAY...ESPECIALLY OVER THE EASTERN
HALF OF THE QUAD STATE REGION. MAINLY DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED
TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT AS A WEAK RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS
OVERHEAD.

THE POTENTIAL FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETURN OVER THE
WEEKEND AS A LARGE UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM PUSHES NORTHEAST FROM
THE CENTRAL PLAINS INTO THE GREAT LAKES REGION. THE CHANCE OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOST PRONOUNCED WITH THE PASSAGE
OF A WARM FRONT SATURDAY NIGHT...AND THEN A COLD FRONT LATE SUNDAY
AFTERNOON AND SUNDAY NIGHT.

NEXT WEEK WILL START OFF DRY AND SLIGHTLY COOLER THAN NORMAL AS
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES OVER THE REGION.
