SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLOUDY TO OVERCAST AS CLOUDS MOVED IN FROM THE
SOUTHWEST. LIGHT RAIN WAS REPORTED IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND
EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE EVENING HOURS. WINDS
WERE EASTERLY AT 5 TO 15 MPH.

A PROLONGED PERIOD OF WEAK SOUTHWEST FLOW ALOFT WILL RESULT IN
RATHER WET AND MILD CONDITIONS ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH NEXT
WEEKEND. THE NEXT UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL BRING SHOWERS AND A
FEW THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY. AFTER A
BRIEF DRY PERIOD THURSDAY NIGHT...A LARGER STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING
PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION FRIDAY THROUGH
NEXT WEEKEND. DRIER AND COOLER WEATHER IS EXPECTED EARLY NEXT
WEEK...AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE FINALLY BUILDS OVERHEAD.
