MID AND HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS STREAMED ACROSS THE AREA OVERNIGHT.
TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN THE 40S EARLY THIS MORNING WITH
SOME UPPER 30S ALONG THE I-64 CORRIDOR AND A FEW LOWER 50S IN
PARTS OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI. WINDS WERE LIGHT.

THE CLOUDS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE AREA TODAY. A FEW
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND
BEGIN TO SPREAD EASTWARD LATE THIS AFTERNOON. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE TONIGHT AS A WARM FRONT
DEVELOPS OVER THE AREA.

ALTHOUGH A LULL IN THE PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED SATURDAY
MORNING...THUNDERSTORMS...SOME OF THEM SEVERE...ARE EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP ACROSS THE AREA SATURDAY AFTERNOON AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT.
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND A FEW TORNADOES ARE POSSIBLE.

THE SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL END SATURDAY NIGHT WITH PARTLY CLOUDY
AND DRY CONDITIONS EXPECTED FOR THE FIRST HALF OF NEXT WEEK.
TEMPERATURES...THOUGH...WILL BE GENERALLY BELOW NORMAL WITH HIGHS
MOSTLY IN THE 60S.
