WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
341 AM CDT FRI APR 17 2015

A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF CLOUDINESS WAS MIXED INTERMITTENTLY WITH
SOME RAYS OF SUNSHINE ON THURSDAY. ONCE MORNING FOG BURNED OFF...
CONDITIONS WERE MAINLY DRY. THE ONLY EXCEPTION WAS THE DEVELOPMENT
OF ISOLATED SHOWERS ACROSS THE PENNYRILE REGION OF WESTERN KENTUCKY
DURING THE AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOWER TO MID
70S. MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES PREVAILED ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA THURSDAY
NIGHT...WITH PATCHY FOG IN SOME LOCATIONS. EARLY FRIDAY MORNING
TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S.

MAINLY DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH MIDDAY SATURDAY AS A WEAK
RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS IN PLACE OVER THE QUAD STATE REGION.
THE POTENTIAL FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETURN OVER THE
WEEKEND AS A LARGE UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM PUSHES NORTHEAST FROM
THE CENTRAL PLAINS INTO THE GREAT LAKES REGION. THE CHANCE OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOST PRONOUNCED WITH THE PASSAGE
OF A WARM FRONT SATURDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY...AND THEN A COLD
FRONT SUNDAY NIGHT. NEXT WEEK WILL START OFF DRY AND SLIGHTLY COOLER
THAN NORMAL AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES OVER THE REGION.
