THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  ELEVATED HAIL RISK.
  ELEVATED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE
EASTERN OZARKS EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING WILL BE THE MAIN RISK WITH THESE STORMS.

AT UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WITH SPREAD EAST THROUGH THE AREA THIS
AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL
DEVELOP AHEAD OF THE DISTURBANCE. WIDE SPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IS
NOT EXPECTED AS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND SMALL HAIL WILL BE
THE MAIN RISK WITH MOST STORMS. SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 60 A FEW OF THE
STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS
AND A FEW WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 60 MPH. THE BETTER RISK FOR SEVERE
WEATHER WILL BE SOUTH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA.

GUSTY NORTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP BEHIND A COLD FRONT THIS
AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING...WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH OCCURRING AT
TIMES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THERE WILL BE ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM THAT WILL PRODUCE WIDESPREAD
THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY.

 SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS
 EVENING ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI.
