WESTERN NEW MEXICO. SNOW ACCUMULATION LEVELS WILL HOVER NEAR OR ABOVE
9500 FEET...THOUGH WET SNOW MAY BE OBSERVED AS LOW AS 8000 FEET IN
THE VICINITY OF THE SANDIA...MANZANO AND GALLINAS MOUNTAINS.
THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN ISOLATED IN COVERAGE AND SHORT-LIVED...
FAVORING AREAS FROM THE LOWER RIO GRANDE VALLEY EASTWARD TO THE
CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS. PRECIPITATION WILL SLOWLY
ROTATE COUNTER CLOCKWISE AROUND AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE CENTERED
BETWEEN VAUGHN AND ROSWELL.

WILL CONTINUE OVER MUCH OF NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO.
STEADIER AND MORE WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION WILL DEVELOP ALONG AND
EAST OF THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS TOWARD SUNSET.  AN ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORM CANNOT BE RULED OUT...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE COLORADO STATE
LINE.  SNOW ACCUMULATION LEVELS WILL GENERALLY REMAIN NEAR OR ABOVE
8500 FEET WITH THE HIGHEST PEAKS OF THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS EXPECTED
TO RECEIVE ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN ONE HALF AND 1 OR 2
INCHES THROUGH 700 PM.  THE PRECIPITATION WILL TRACK SLOWLY TOWARD
THE WEST-NORTHWEST OR COUNTER CLOCKWISE AROUND AN AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE CENTERED OVER CENTRAL NEW MEXICO.

PRECIPITATION HERE WILL MOVE TOWARD THE NORTH AND NORTHWEST AT 10 TO
15 MPH. ELSEWHERE...A SLOW-MOVING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER CENTRAL
NEW MEXICO WILL CONTINUE TO GENERATE ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS
OVER THE REMAINDER OF EAST CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO.
ISOLATED...SHORT-LIVED THUNDERSTORMS CANNOT BE RULED OUT BUT OVERALL
COVERAGE WILL REMAIN LIMITED.
