THERE WERE PASSING CLOUDS ACROSS THE REGION DURING THE OVERNIGHT AND
EARLY MORNING HOURS. LOWS AROUND SUNRISE AVERAGED FROM THE UPPER 30S
TO MID 40S. THE COLD SPOT OVERNIGHT WAS ON MARTHAS VINEYARD WHERE
THE LOW WAS 29 DEGREES AROUND 1 AM.

FOR TODAY...DESPITE FAIR WEATHER HIGH PRESSURE OVER OUR REGION...A
WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL REMAIN DRAPED FROM NORTH TO SOUTH
DIVIDING OUR REGION IN HALF. ON THE EASTERN HALF WINDS WILL BE SOUTH
TO SOUTHEASTERLY TODAY AT 10 TO 20 MPH WITH HIGHS IN THE MID 50S TO
MID 60S. OVER THE WESTER HALF WINDS WILL BE LIGHTER AND OUT OF THE
WEST SOUTHWEST WITH HIGHS IN THE MID 70S TO AROUND 80 DEGREES. AND
OVER CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS WINDS WILL BE LIGHT AND VARIABLE WITH
HIGHS IN THE LOW 70S. IT WILL BE PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY TODAY WITH
DRY WEATHER DOMINATING...HOWEVER THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY COULD TRIGGER
A SPOT SHOWER AND PERHAPS A THUNDERSTORM DURING THE AFTERNOON WITH
THE HIGHEST RISK ACROSS CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS.

IT WILL BE MOSTLY CLEAR TONIGHT WITH LOWS FALLING BACK INTO THE 40S.

ON MONDAY...IT WILL BE DRY AND WARM UNDER MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. HIGH
PRESSURE WILL MOVE OFFSHORE ENABLING TEMPERATURES TO WARM INTO THE
UPPER 70S TO LOW 80S. BREEZY SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL KEEP IT COOLER
ALONG THE SOUTH COAST WHERE HIGHS WILL BE CAPPED IN THE MID 60S TO
MID 70S.

A SOUTHWEST BREEZE WILL CONTINUE MONDAY NIGHT WHILE CLOUDS INCREASE
ACROSS THE REGION. LOWS WILL RANGE IN THE 50S.

LOOKING AHEAD...A COLD FRONT WILL BRING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
POSSIBLY A THUNDERSTORM TO THE REGION SOMETIME TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY
NIGHT. MAINLY DRY WEATHER WITH MILD TO WARM AFTERNOONS ARE EXPECTED
WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...ALTHOUGH SEA BREEZES AT TIMES MAY RESULT
IN LOCALIZED COOLER CONDITIONS ALONG THE COAST. ANOTHER COLD FRONT
APPROACHES ON SATURDAY WITH THE BEST CHANCE OF SHOWERS IN NORTHERN
MASSACHUSETTS.
