...ENHANCED RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL INTENSIFY OVER CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA
THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING... ALONG AND AHEAD OF A COLD
FRONT THAT WILL CROSS THE REGION LATER TONIGHT. ANY STORMS THAT
DEVELOP MAY QUICKLY BECOME SEVERE... WITH A PRIMARY THREAT OF
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH AND QUARTER TO GOLFBALL SIZE HAIL.
