.DISCUSSION...A HIGH PRESSURE CENTER IS BUILDING INTO THE FORECAST
AREA TONIGHT FOLLOWING THE COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE EARLIER TODAY.
THE HIGH WILL SHIFT OFF THE COAST BEGINNING THURSDAY BRINGING IN
ONSHORE FLOW...FEEDING MOISTURE BACK INTO THE REGION. A WARM FRONT
IS EXPECTED TO WAVE NORTHWARD THURSDAY AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT
APPROACHING THE REGION FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. A CHANCE OF ISOLATED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IS POSSIBLE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AS
INSTABILITY INCREASES.

MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL REMAIN WELL ABOVE CRITICAL
VALUES...THURSDAY AROUND 40 TO 50 PERCENT AREA-WIDE, DROPPING TO
AROUND 35 TO 40 PERCENT ON FRIDAY WITH THE DRIEST AIR EXPECTED
TO BE IN THE MIDLANDS AND EASTERN PIEDMONT. TRANSPORT WINDS WILL
INCREASE...SOUTHERLY AT 15-20MPH THURSDAY...AND SOUTHWESTERLY AT
20-30MPH FRIDAY.

FOG MAY OCCUR IN A FEW AREAS DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS THURSDAY
WITH POOR DISPERSION AND LIGHT LOW-LEVEL FLOW. FOG IS NOT EXPECTED
