.DISCUSSION...

WARMING TEMPERATURES AND AN ACTIVE SOUTHERN STREAM WILL BRING
SEVERAL DAYS OF FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS THIS WEEK. A DRYLINE WILL
DEVELOP TODAY AND MOVE EAST INTO THE PERMIAN BASIN. BEHIND THE
DRYLINE RH`S WILL FALL BELOW 15 PERCENT. WINDS WILL GENERALLY STAY
BELOW 15 MPH EXCEPT IN THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS WHERE NEAR 20 MPH
ARE POSSIBLE. A FIRE DANGER STATEMENT IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS AREA
THIS AFTERNOON. DRY AIR WILL REMAIN IN PLACE WEDNESDAY, BUT WITH
INCREASING WINDS SPREADING ACROSS PARTS THE REGION. A FIRE
WEATHER WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS WHERE
CONFIDENCE IS HIGHEST OF RED FLAG CONDITIONS. FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN ELEVATED THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK WITH
