SHIFTING WINDS EXPECTED TODAY AS ANOTHER COLD FRONT PUSHES ACROSS
THE GREAT BASIN AND THROUGH WESTERN COLORADO. THE FRONT IS EXPECTED
TO ARRIVE BETWEEN 1500 AND 1800 THIS AFTERNOON WITH A GRADUAL SHIFT
IN WIND DIRECTION FROM THE SOUTHWEST TO NORTHWEST THROUGH THIS
PERIOD. COOLER CONDITIONS WILL FILL IN BEHIND THE FRONT. EXPECT
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY A THUNDERSTORM OR TWO THROUGHOUT THE
DAY WITH THE BEST CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION OVER THE HIGHER PEAKS.
COOLER CONDITIONS AND LOWER MIXING WILL LIMIT SMOKE DISPERSAL ON
FRIDAY.
