THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE
LATE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. THE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE
STRONG OR SEVERE. BUT RECENT RAINFALL IN CENTRAL KANSAS MAY LEAD
TO RENEWED LOCALIZED FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CHANCES INCREASE FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. GOLFBALL SIZE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ARE
THE MAIN IMPACTS. A TORNADO OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT. LOCALIZED
FLOODING MAY ALSO BE A CONCERN.

THE ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN WILL CONTINUE FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY
WITH EPISODES OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE. DUE TO A SLOW MOVING
STORM SYSTEM AND PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN...FLASH FLOODING AND RIVER
FLOODING MAY BECOME A CONCERN LATE IN THE WEEK AND INTO THE
WEEKEND.
