UNDER CLEAR SKIES A SOUTHEASTERLY WIND INCREASED INTO THE 10 TO 20
MPH RANGE ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND DAYBREAK. LOWS
OVERNIGHT RANGED FROM THE MID TO UPPER 30S ACROSS PORTIONS OF
EASTERN COLORADO TO THE MIDDLE 50S ACROSS NORTHERN OKLAHOMA.

A DRYLINE WILL BE LOCATED ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON AS A
COLD FRONT MOVES SOUTH ACROSS NEBRASKA. BY EARLY THIS EVENING THIS
COLD FRONT WILL EXTEND FROM NORTHWEST KANSAS INTO EXTREME NORTHWEST
IOWA. THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR LATE DAY AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS SOUTHWEST KANSAS EAST OF THE DRYLINE. A BETTER CHANCE
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LOCATED ALONG THE COLD FRONT FROM NORTH
CENTRAL KANSAS INTO EXTREME WESTERN IOWA. THE COLD FRONT TO MOVE
THROUGH SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS OVERNIGHT AS AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH
CROSSES THE THE NORTHERN PLAINS.

TEMPERATURES ON THURSDAY WILL BE 20 TO 25 DEGREES COOLER COMPARED TO
THE HIGHS TODAY. THURSDAY HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM AROUND 50 IN
NORTHEAST COLORADO TO THE MID 70S IN NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. LOWS
TONIGHT ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM NEAR 40 IN PORTIONS ON EAST
CENTRAL COLORADO TO THE MID 50S IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND NORTH
CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.
