FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHERN/CENTRAL MO AND SE KS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
152 PM CDT THU APR 23 2015

.DISCUSSION...

WE COULD BE DEALING WITH SOME STORMY CONDITIONS BEGINNING TONIGHT
AND CONTINUING INTO FRIDAY NIGHT. A STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH
FROM THE WEST...INTERACTING WITH INCREASED MOISTURE TO PRODUCE
ON AND OFF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. IT`S NOT CLEAR THAT THIS
PRECIPITATION WILL BE WIDESPREAD IN NATURE YET.

A WINDOW FOR DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED FROM SATURDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
EVENING, WITH RAIN CHANCES ENTERING THE FORECAST AGAIN SUNDAY NIGHT
THROUGH TUESDAY. ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL SHIFT THROUGH
THE REGION...BRINGING COOL...CLOUDY...AND DAMP WEATHER.

WE ARE STARTING TO BECOME CONFIDENT IN AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF
SUNNY AND WARM WEATHER WEATHER STARTING WEDNESDAY OF NEXT WEEK
AS A MAJOR PATTERN CHANGE UNFOLDS.
