THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED TORNADO RISK.
  ELEVATED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO
  THIS EVENING ACROSS OKLAHOMA AND KANSAS...AND MOVE EAST INTO THE
  OUTLOOK AREA LATE THIS EVENING. AT THIS TIME...IT APPEARS THAT
  THE SEVERE WEATHER RISK WILL MAINLY OCCUR WEST OF OUR AREA BUT
  MAY AFFECT A SMALL PORTION OF EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS. LARGE
  HAIL... GUSTY WINDS...AND PERHAPS A TORNADO OR TWO WILL BE
  POSSIBLE. STORMS WILL LIKELY WEAKEN LATE TONIGHT AS THEY
  CONTINUE EAST INTO THE REMAINDER OF THE OUTLOOK AREA.

  ALONG WITH THE RISK OF THUNDERSTORMS...SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL
  GUST TO AROUND 30 MPH AT TIMES INTO THE EARLY EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

  THUNDERSTORMS ARE THEN EXPECTED TO STRENGTHEN AND OR REDEVELOP
  ALONG THE COLD FRONT AS IT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA ON SATURDAY.
  A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
  SATURDAY...MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 44.

  ADDITIONAL CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR MONDAY AND
  TUESDAY ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI.

  SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED LATER THIS EVENING FOR
  EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.
