THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL
  IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND MUCH OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS TODAY
  INTO THIS EVENING. CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL BE THE MAIN
  HAZARD FROM THESE STORMS. A FEW STORMS MAY ALSO PRODUCE HAIL TO
  THE SIZE OF PENNIES AND LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS TO 40 MPH.

  HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF AN INCH WILL ACCOMPANY SOME
  OF THIS ACTIVITY WHICH COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING. FLOOD
  POTENTIAL WILL BE GREATEST WHERE MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF
  THUNDERSTORMS OCCUR.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

  MORE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED FROM SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY
  EVENING AS A SLOW MOVING STORM SYSTEM MOVES THROUGH THE
  REGION. A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE IF
  ENOUGH INSTABILITY CAN DEVELOP...MAINLY ACROSS SOUTH
  CENTRAL MISSOURI. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND A LIMITED RISK
  FOR FLOODING ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.

  ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL THEN BE POSSIBLE FROM
  WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY OF NEXT WEEK.
