Significant rises are expected on the following rivers:

The Big Piney  below Fort Leonard Wood East Gate. Flood stage is 8.0
feet. The latest stage was 3.5 feet at 3 PM Thursday. The river may
rise to near 7.0 feet by 7 PM Saturday. People should be aware of the
latest river levels...and prepare for possible warnings.

The Jacks Fork at Alley Spring. Flood stage is 9.0 feet. The latest
stage was 3.2 feet at 3 PM Thursday. The river may rise to near 4.9
feet by 1 AM Saturday. People should be aware of the latest river
levels...and prepare for possible warnings.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
