IT WAS A RAINY AND COOL AFTERNOON ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND THE
MISSOURI OZARKS. LATE THIS AFTERNOON THE SHOWERS WERE CONFINED TO
AREAS ALONG AND EAST OF HIGHWAY 65 AND SCATTERED IN NATURE.
TEMPERATURES RANGE FROM THE MIDDLE 50S WHERE SHOWERS WERE
OCCURRING...TO THE LOWER 60S ELSEWHERE.

SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL END TONIGHT...BUT SKIES WILL REMAIN MOSTLY
CLOUDY. THERE COULD BE SOME CLEARING ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND
WESTERN MISSOURI LATE. IF ANY CLEARING DOES OCCUR THERE COULD BE
SOME FOG FORMATION. LOOK FOR OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE
50S.

DRY AND WARMER WEATHER WILL DEVELOP THURSDAY AFTER SOME EARLY
MORNING CLOUDS. HIGHS WILL BE IN THE 70S. RAIN CHANCES WILL BEGIN TO
INCREASE FRIDAY AND CONTINUE INTO THE WEEKEND AS A SYSTEM OVER THE
ROCKIES APPROACHES OUR REGION.
