GULF OF MEXICO.

MODEST EASTERLY WINDS WILL BECOME NORTHERLY AND INCREASE THIS
AFTERNOON AS THE PRESSURE GRADIENT TIGHTENS BETWEEN LOW PRESSURE
DEPARTING TO THE EAST AND HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO CENTRAL
TEXAS. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE GULF WATERS
TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES
TODAY...WITH RAIN CHANCES GENERALLY DECREASING FROM WEST TO EAST.
NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

NORTH WINDS WILL DECREASE A BIT ON WEDNESDAY...AND SUBSIDE FURTHER
ON THURSDAY AS THE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES EAST INTO THE
REGION. ONSHORE FLOW WILL RESUME BY THE WEEKEND AS THE HIGH SHIFTS
EAST OF THE REGION.
