A WARM FRONT LIFTED NORTH AS A WARM FRONT WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...WITH
SUMMER LIKE INLAND HIGHS IN THE UPPER 70S TO MID 80S. A LAKE
BREEZE KEPT SHORE LOCATIONS IN THE 50S AND 60S AND DID COOL OFF
AREAS FARTHER INLAND AS IT MOVED SOUTHWEST. THERE WILL HAVE BEEN A
SLIGHT CHANCE FOR AN ISOLATED SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM IN THE LATE
AFTERNOON IN PARTS OF NORTHEAST AND NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS. PATCHY
FOG IS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN...AND IT COULD
BE A BIT MORE WIDESPREAD ALONG THE IMMEDIATE ILLINOIS SHORE. LOWS
BY EARLY THURSDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER
60S...EXCEPT LOWER TO MID 50S NEAR THE ILLINOIS SHORE.

THURSDAY WILL FEATURE SUMMER LIKE WARMTH FOR THE WHOLE
AREA...WITH HIGHS REACHING THE LOWER TO MID 80S. ISOLATED TO
WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE DURING
THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING...MAINLY WEST OF A MCHENRY TO PONTIAC
LINE IN THE AFTERNOON AND ALONG AND WEST OF A PONTIAC TO ANTIOCH
LINE IN THE EVENING. AN UPPER DISTURBANCE APPROACHING FROM THE
SOUTHWEST WILL BRING MORE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ON
FRIDAY AHEAD OF A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT...ESPECIALLY IN THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. HEAVY RAINFALL MAY OCCUR WITH THE SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS. HIGH TEMPERATURES FRIDAY ARE FORECAST TO BE IN
THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S.
