WEDNESDAY WAS ANOTHER SUNNY SPRING DAY ACROSS THE HEARTLAND. DAYTIME
TEMPERATURES WARMED NICELY AS A RESULT OF CLEAR SKIES AND A
SOUTHERLY BREEZE AT 10 TO 15 MPH. 2 PM TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE
LOWER TO MIDDLE 70S.

RAIN CHANCES RETURN FOR SOUTHEAST MISSOURI THIS EVENING...AND A
HEAVY RAIN EVENT BEGINS WITH SHOWERS ON THURSDAY FOR ENTIRE QUAD
STATE AREA THURSDAY AS A FRONT ENTERS THE REGION. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS INTENSIFY OVERNIGHT THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY. A COMBINED
TOTAL OF TWO TO FOUR INCHES OF RAINFALL IS EXPECTED...WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. PRECIPITATION CHANCES DIMINISH FROM THE
WEST FRIDAY EVENING AS THE SYSTEM MOVES OUT.

TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN NEAR SEASONAL NORMALS...WITH A BRIEF COOL
DOWN FOR SATURDAY. BEYOND THIS EVENT THE NEXT CHANCE FOR
PRECIPITATION COMES EARLY NEXT WEEK.
