THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE WESTERN TWO THIRDS OF
UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

SNOW ACROSS NORTHERN AND WEST-CENTRAL UTAH WILL SHIFT SOUTH
OVERNIGHT. ACCUMULATING SNOW IS EXPECTED IN THE WEST-CENTRAL AND
SOUTHWEST VALLEYS AS WELL AS MOST MOUNTAIN AREAS.

THE COLD AIRMASS IN PLACE IS EXPECTED TO LEAD TO A HARD FREEZE
ACROSS MANY VALLEY AREAS...WITH THE EXCEPTION OF FAR SOUTHERNUTAH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM POSITIONED NEAR THE FOUR CORNERS THURSDAY
WILL BRING ADDITIONAL SNOWS TO THE NORTHEAST AND CENTRAL
MOUNTAINS. THIS SNOW WILL PERSIST THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT...THEN
GRADUALLY DECREASE IN AREAL COVERAGE AND INTENSITY HEADING INTO
FRIDAY.

MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS ALL OF UTAH AND
SOUTHWEST WYOMING THURSDAY. FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE POSSIBLE
IN MANY VALLEY LOCATIONS THURSDAY MORNING.

HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT TO THE WEST OF THE OUTLOOK AREA WILL BRING
DRY CONDITIONS AND WARMER TEMPERATURES BACK TO THE REGION THIS
WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.
