HIGH PRESSURE MADE FOR CLEAR AND TRANQUIL WEATHER OVERNIGHT ACROSS
EASTERN KANSAS. EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN THE
MIDDLE TO UPPER 40S...WITH LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL SHIFT EAST OF KANSAS INTO MISSOURI AND IOWA BY
THIS EVENING. A WEAK FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL DROP INTO CENTRAL NEBRASKA
AND FAR NORTHWEST KANSAS LATE TODAY INTO TONIGHT...WHERE IT IS
EXPECTED TO STALL. A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY OCCUR NEAR
THIS FRONTAL ZONE...WITH THE REMAINDER OF THE HEARTLAND STAYING
MOSTLY CLEAR AND DRY.

HIGHS TODAY WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE 70S TO LOWER 80S. LOWS TONIGHT
WILL BE IN THE 40S AND 50S...WITH THE COOLER READINGS SLATED OVER
THE LOWER ELEVATIONS OF THE CENTRAL PLAINS.
