SUNNY SKIES AND PLEASANT WEATHER CONDITIONS PREVAILED ACROSS CENTRAL
AND EASTERN KANSAS TODAY. AFTERNOON HIGHS WERE IN THE 70S WITH LIGHT
AND VARIABLE WINDS.

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN CENTERED OVER IOWA AND MISSOURI
TONIGHT...WITH A WEAK COLD FRONT SINKING SLOWLY SOUTHWARD ACROSS
WESTERN NEBRASKA. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT
MAINLY THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE AND CENTRAL SECTIONS OF THE STATE
TONIGHT. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE IN THE 40S AND LOWER 50S ACROSS THE
HEARTLAND.

A STALLED OUT OF FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL REMAIN OVER CENTRAL NEBRASKA
SOUTHWARD INTO NORTHWEST KANSAS ON FRIDAY. ONCE AGAIN SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP ALONG THIS
BOUNDARY FRIDAY AFTERNOON. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL BE IN THE 70S TO LOW
80S OVER MID AMERICA.
