NORTHWESTERN GEARY...NORTHERN DICKINSON...SOUTHERN CLAY...
SOUTHEASTERN OTTAWA...SOUTHWESTERN POTTAWATOMIE AND SOUTHERN RILEY
COUNTIES...

AT 857 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THAT
THE HEAVIER RAINFALL WAS BEGINNING TO MOVE SOUTH OF THE WARNED AREA.
MOST OF THE WARNED AREA HAS RECEIVED BETWEEN 2 AND 5 INCHES OF
RAINFALL. THEREFORE...RUNOFF FROM THE EARLIER HEAVY RAINFALL MAY
CONTINUE TO CAUSE FLASH FLOODING THROUGH 11 PM.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
MANHATTAN...ST. GEORGE...NILES...JUNCTION CITY...
MILFORD...ABILENE...CHAPMAN...ENTERPRISE...MANCHESTER...SOLOMON AND
MILFORD LAKE.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 70 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 267 AND 313.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND...AWAY FROM RISING WATER.

DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
