THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH ALABAMA AND PORTIONS OF
SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION THIS
MORNING...WITH BRIEF GUSTY WINDS, LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL THE PRIMARY THREATS.

THE COVERAGE AND INTENSITY OF STORMS IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE THIS
AFTERNOON AS THE ATMOSPHERE BECOMES UNSTABLE AND AN UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCE APPROACHES FROM THE SOUTHWEST. LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WINDS
AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREATS WITH THIS
ACTIVITY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL MAY ALSO RESULT IN PONDING OF WATER
ON ROADWAYS AND MINOR FLOODING.

A FINAL ROUND OF STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS
EXPECTED VERY LATE THIS EVENING AND EARLY MONDAY MORNING AS A
COMPLEX OF STORMS SPREADS EASTWARD FROM THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY
REGION. THIS ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO GRADUALLY WEAKEN AND DISSIPATE
AS IT SHIFTS EASTWARD INTO THE REGION AFTER MIDNIGHT. HOWEVER...A
THREAT FOR DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL WILL STILL EXIST...BUT
MAINLY FOR NORTHWEST ALABAMA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...AS A REINFORCING COLD FRONT MOVES
SOUTHWARD THROUGH THE REGION. THE COVERAGE OF STORMS WILL INCREASE
ONCE AGAIN ON FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY AS A STRONGER STORM SYSTEM
APPROACHES THE REGION FROM THE WEST.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL IS
POSSIBLE FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY MONDAY MORNING.
