MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA FROM THE WEST THIS
AFTERNOON. SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS MAY BECOME STRONG OR SEVERE
WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL THE PRIMARY THREATS.

THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT AREA BEACHES TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

AN UPPER SYSTEM WILL MEANDER EAST ACROSS THE AREA LATE MONDAY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY...BRINGING ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
A STORM OR TWO MAY BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE LATE MONDAY THROUGH
TUESDAY AHEAD OF THE SYSTEM...BUT ORGANIZED SEVERE ACTIVITY IS NOT
