ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WERE NOTED ACROSS EASTERN COLORADO AND
NORTHWESTERN KANSAS OVERNIGHT BRINGING MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL
WITH THE STRONGER STORMS. FOR THE MOST PART, SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS
REMAINED DRY AFTER MIDNIGHT. YESTERDAY EVENING, THUNDERSTORMS
BROUGHT ANOTHER SHOT OF WELL NEEDED MOISTURE TO SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS
WITH SOME AREAS SEEING OVER AN INCH. OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES
RANGED FROM THE LOWER 40S IN EASTERN COLORADO TO THE LOWER 50S IN
SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

AN UPPER LEVEL CLOSED LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER WESTERN KANSAS WILL
CONTINUE TO WEAKEN AS IT MOVES FARTHER INTO THE NATIONS MID SECTION
BY MIDNIGHT. CHILLY TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO FUNNEL INTO THE
WESTERN PLAINS TODAY AND TONIGHT AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES
TO BUILD INTO THE HIGH PLAINS. A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON. SEVERE
WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED TODAY. WINDY CONDITIONS ARE FORECAST THROUGH
THIS EVENING WITH NORTH WINDS FROM 20 TO 30 MPH AND GUSTS UP TO 40
MPH. SKIES WILL CLEAR TONIGHT WITH COLD TEMPERATURES POSSIBLE BY
EARLY MORNING.

HIGHS TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 50S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO
TO THE UPPER 60S AROUND OKLAHOMA CITY. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM
THE UPPER 20S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO THE MID 40S IN CENTRAL
OKLAHOMA.
