AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH EXTENDING FROM EASTERN COLORADO INTO EASTERN
NEW MEXICO WILL MOVE ACROSS KANSAS INTO WESTERN MISSOURI BY SATURDAY
MORNING. AT THE SURFACE, A DIFFUSE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE CENTERED
NEAR THE KANSAS COLORADO BORDER FRIDAY AFTERNOON WILL PROGRESS INTO
NORTHWEST MISSOURI BY SATURDAY MORNING. A DRYLINE EXTENDING FROM THE
SURFACE LOW INTO EXTREME WESTERN OKLAHOMA WILL CONTINUE MOVING EAST
THIS EVENING. A STATIONARY FRONT ACROSS NORTHERN KANSAS WILL MOVE
LITTLE. THUNDERSTORM ARE LIKELY TO DEVELOP ALONG THE DRYLINE WITH
THE BEST CHANCE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH POSSIBLE TORNADOES
NEAR THE DRYLINE/STATIONARY FRONT INTERSECTION IN NORTH CENTRAL
KANSAS. OTHER SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY NEAR THE UPPER
LEVEL TROUGH LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
