.DISCUSSION...
A UNSEASONABLY WARM DAY IS WELL UNDERWAY ACROSS EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND
WESTERN ARKANSAS UNDER SUNNY SKIES. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE
CLOSER TO NORMAL ON SUNDAY AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE REGION
TONIGHT.

THE CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS RETURN SUNDAY NIGHT AND
CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY AS A MID-LEVEL SHORTWAVE CURRENTLY OVER NEVADA
STRENGTHENS AND MOVES ACROSS THE PLAINS MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. ADDITIONAL
LIFT WILL BE PROVIDED BY STRONG ISENTROPIC UPGLIDE. SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS
THAT MOVE INTO THE AREA FROM THE WEST SUNDAY NIGHT WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL
TO BE STRONG TO SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL THE MAIN CONCERN. RAINFALL AMOUNTS
OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE...MAINLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40 WITH LESSER
AMOUNTS TO THE NORTH DURING THE SUNDAY NIGHT-TUESDAY TIME-FRAME.

DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED WEDNESDAY INTO THE WEEKEND AS HIGH PRESSURE PREVAILS
AT THE SURFACE AND ALOFT. TEMPERATURES ARE NOT EXPECTED TO STRAY TOO FAR FROM
THE SEASONAL NORMS.
