THIS OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS AS WELL AS
MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...LIMITED.
AREA...PARTS OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA...AREAS WEST OF HIGHWAY 75.
ONSET...AFTER MIDNIGHT.

DISCUSSION...
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL QUICKLY SLIDE ACROSS THE PLAINS
TODAY...AND WILL RESULT IN A QUIET WEATHER DAY. A WEAK UPPER DISTURBANCE
WILL ENTER THE PLAINS TONIGHT...WITH LOW THUNDERSTORM CHANCES
RETURNING TO PARTS OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA. MOISTURE WILL REMAIN
LIMITED...THEREFORE SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
TUESDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.
WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY AS THE WEAK
DISTURBANCE CONTINUES TO MOVE THROUGH THE AREA. MOISTURE RETURN
AND INCREASING INSTABILITY WILL RAISE SEVERE WEATHER POTENTIAL
FOR THE MID TO LATTER PARTS OF THE WEEK AS IMPACTS FROM A STRONGER
SYSTEM TO THE WEST ARE FELT ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PLAINS. THUNDERSTORM
CHANCES CONTINUE INTO THE WEEKEND AS THIS MAIN SYSTEM MOVES
THROUGH THE REGION.

ALL MODES OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THIS PERIOD. OVERALL
SEVERE RISKS/PROBABILITIES WILL CONTINUE TO BE REFINED WITH LATER
FORECASTS AND DISCUSSIONS.
