THIS OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS AS WELL AS
MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
RISK...LIMITED.
AREA...EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS.
ONSET...AFTER 5 PM.

FLASH FLOOD.
RISK...LIMITED.
AREA...SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA.
ONSET...ONGOING.

HEAVY RAIN.
RISK...LIMITED.
AREA...SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA.
ONSET...ONGOING.

SIGNIFICANT WINDS.
RISK...LIMITED.
AREA....EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS.
        ONSET...ONGOING.

DISCUSSION...
ONGOING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA ARE
EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LIMITS THROUGH AT LEAST THE LATE
AFTERNOON. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS CURRENTLY ONGOING ACROSS
PARTS OF NORTHWEST TEXAS WILL MOVE EAST THROUGH THE DAY...AND MAY
IMPACT PARTS OF SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA MAINLY AFTER 5 PM. A FEW OF
THESE STORMS MAY BE SEVERE.

THE ONGOING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ACROSS SOUTHERN
OKLAHOMA AND NORTHERN TEXAS HAS GREATLY AFFECTED THE MOISTURE
RETURN AND INSTABILITY ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. THEREFORE... THE CHANCES OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS MOVING OFF THE DRYLINE AND INTO PARTS OF NORTHEAST
OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS ARE QUITE SLIM THROUGH TONIGHT.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
LOCAL SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
SATURDAY...HIGH WIND POTENTIAL.
SUNDAY...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL...HIGH WIND POTENTIAL.
MONDAY...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.
TUESDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...NO HAZARDS.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE FORECAST TO INCREASE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO
MONDAY AS ANOTHER UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES ACROSS THE
PLAINS. INCREASING INSTABILITY AHEAD OF THE NEXT SYSTEM WILL ALLOW
FOR THE POTENTIAL OF SEVERE WEATHER. AFTER THIS SYSTEM EXITS THE
REGION...HIGH PRESSURE LOOKS TO SET UP OVER THE PLAINS WITHIN
NORTHWESTERLY UPPER LEVEL FLOW... ALLOWING FOR A PERIOD OF
UNEVENTFUL WEATHER.
