DISCUSSION...
ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS
BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON TODAY AS AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
MOVES INTO REGION. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE
ADDITIONAL PRECIPITATION THAT DEVELOPS TONIGHT...WHICH MAY RESULT
IN POTENTIAL FLASH FLOODING CONDITIONS OVER PARTS OF EASTERN
OKLAHOMA.

AN ISOLATED STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL
WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING OVER
FAR SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...MAINLY NEAR THE RED RIVER.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
LOCAL SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...NO HAZARDS.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
ONGOING RAIN SHOWERS WILL DIMINISH IN AREAL COVERAGE FROM
NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON AS THE UPPER LEVEL
LOW PRESSURE EXITS THE REGION. IN THE WAKE OF THE EXITING LOW
PRESSURE...A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE SETTING UP OVER THE PLAINS
WILL RESULT IN AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF SETTLED WEATHER...ALONG WITH
SLOWLY WARMING TEMPERATURES.
