THIS OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS AS WELL AS
MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

.DAY ONE...THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...ELEVATED.
AREA...EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS.
        ONSET...AFTER 6 PM...BETTER CHANCES AFTER MIDNIGHT.

DISCUSSION...
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS EVENING ACROSS FAR
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA NEAR THE TEXAS BORDER. THUNDERSTORMS THAT HAVE
DEVELOPED WELL TO THE WEST MAY ORGANIZE AND SHIFT EASTWARD OVERNIGHT
INTO PARTS OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA LATE TONIGHT...BUT THE STORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO BE IN A WEAKENED STATE. ADDITIONALLY...SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND
WESTERN ARKANSAS TOWARD MORNING. THE OVERALL SEVERE WEATHER THREAT
FROM ANY OF THESE STORMS IS MINIMAL.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE SLOWLY EAST NORTHEAST
FROM THE FOUR CORNERS REGION TODAY...INTO SOUTHERN KANSAS BY SUNDAY.
AS A RESULT...SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR
TOMORROW THROUGH THE WEEKEND. A LIMITED TO ELEVATED RISK OF LARGE
HAIL WILL BE THE GREATEST THREAT WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS.

THE UPPER PATTERN WILL REMAIN UNSETTLED INTO NEXT WEEK...WITH AT
LEAST SMALL CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS EACH DAY.
