FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR ALASKA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ANCHORAGE AK
333 PM AKDT MON APR 27 2015

.DISCUSSION...
THE ATMOSPHERE IS UNSTABLE TODAY BUT THE CONVECTION IS HAVING
A HARD TIME BREAKING THE CAP AT LOWER LEVELS THIS AFTERNOON.
THE MOUNTAINS ARE PROVIDING SOME ELEVATED HEATING SOURCES THAT
MAY KICK OFF SOME SHOWERS AND EVEN A WET THUNDERSTORM IN THE
KUSKOKWIM VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON...BUT BY TOMORROW ANY THREAT
OF ANYTHING MORE THAN A FEW AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS
APPEARS TO BE OVER.
