FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN/CENTRAL MO AND SOUTHWEST IL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ST LOUIS MO
459 PM CDT SUN MAY 3 2015

.DISCUSSION...

HIGH PRESSURE ANCHORED OFF THE EAST COAST WILL KEEP A PERSISTENT SOUTHERLY
FLOW GOING THROUGH THE WEEK WHICH WILL PUMP SEASONABLY WARM AIR INTO THE
REGION. A COLD FRONT WILL STALL OUT ALONG THE IOWA/MISSOURI BORDER
TOMORROW BRINGING A CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION TO NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND WEST
CENTRAL ILLINOIS FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. THE BOUNDARY IS
EXPECTED TO LIFT BACK NORTH AS A WARM FRONT TUESDAY.
