A ADVISORY FOR DENSE FOG IS IN EFFECT. PLEASE REFER TO THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WEBSITE AT WEATHER.GOV/DESMOINES FOR
FURTHER DETAILS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL BE PERSISTENT IN THE FORECAST THROUGH
THIS WEEKEND. FOR MUCH OF THIS TIME THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WILL
REMAIN LOW...HOWEVER THERE IS AN ELEVATED RISK OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AND AGAIN ON
SUNDAY WITH THE THREAT SUNDAY BEING MORE SIGNIFICANT. IN
ADDITION...THERE WILL BE A THREAT OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN FROM THESE
THUNDERSTORMS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK.
