WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

.THUNDERSTORMS...
THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PART OF WESTERN
OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS.

LOCATION...
THE SLIGHT RISK AREA IS GENERALLY ALONG AND WEST OF A CHEYENNE AND
CORDELL... TO LAWTON OKLAHOMA... TO HENRIETTA TEXAS. EAST OF THE
SLIGHT RISK AREA...A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE
POSSIBLE.

TIMING...
4 PM TO 10 PM

IMPACTS...
THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL UP TO THE
SIZE OF GOLF BALLS AND 60 TO 70 MPH WIND GUSTS.

A TORNADO OR TWO WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF WESTERN
NORTH TEXAS.

ADDITIONALLY...THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY
HEAVY RAIN WHICH MAY RESULT IN SOME FLOODING.

DISCUSSION...
SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY SPREAD
EAST AND NORTHEAST ACROSS WESTERN AND CENTRAL OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN
NORTH TEXAS.

BY MID TO LATE AFTERNOON...THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE MAY DECREASE
ENOUGH TO ALLOW FOR HEATING AND DESTABILIZATION ACROSS WEST TEXAS
AND WESTERN OKLAHOMA. IF THIS OCCURS... A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE
STORMS MAY DEVELOP. RATHER STRONG LOW LEVEL WIND SHEAR COMBINED
WITH WEAK INSTABILITY MAY ALSO SUPPORT THE RISK OF A FEW TORNADOES
IN PARTS OF WESTERN NORTH TEXAS.

THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL DECREASE LATER THIS EVENING
BUT SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE
THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY ACROSS PORTIONS OF OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN
NORTH TEXAS.

.THUNDERSTORMS...
A RATHER ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN WILL REMAIN IN PLACE WEDNESDAY
INTO AT LEAST SUNDAY WITH A RISK OF SEVERE STORMS EACH DAY ALONG
WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING RAINFALL.

FOR WEDNESDAY...THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE STORMS
MAINLY WEST OF ENID...LAWTON AND WICHITA FALLS. LARGE HAIL...
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS... AND A FEW TORNADOES WILL BE CONCERNS
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

ON THURSDAY... THE SLIGHT RISK AREA IS MAINLY CONFINED TO A SMALL
AREA OF SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS. LARGE HAIL AND
STRONG WINDS WILL BE THE MAIN CONCERNS.

A HIGHER LIKELIHOOD FOR SEVERE STORMS MAY EXIST ON SATURDAY AND
SUNDAY.
