...ABOVE NORMAL RAINFALL THROUGH APRIL 19TH...

THROUGH MID MONTH...APRIL HAS BEEN A WETTER THAN NORMAL MONTH
ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS. AS A MATTER OF FACT...ALL OF THE FIRST-
AND SECOND-ORDER CLIMATE SITES NOW HAVE ABOVE NORMAL RAINFALL FOR
THE YEAR-TO-DATE. TO ILLUSTRATE...BOTH THE CONROE AND PALACIOS
SITES AS OF THE END OF MARCH HAD RECORDED RAINFALL DEFICITS. BOTH
NOW HAVE RAINFALL OVER A HALF INCH ABOVE NORMAL. ALTHOUGH THERE
HAVE BEEN RAINY EPISODES SINCE THE FIRST OF THE MONTH...MOST OF
THE RAINFALL ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS HAS FALLEN SINCE THE 10TH OF
THE MONTH.

AND DEPARTURES IN INCHES FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL THROUGH THE 19TH
AND FOR THE YEAR-TO-DATE.
