.YESTERDAY...

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED OVER MISSOURI AND ILLINOIS BROUGHT
MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES TO THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE BADGERLAND
SATURDAY...WHILE THE INFLUENCE FROM AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE IN
CANADA KEPT THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE STATE MOSTLY SUNNY. LITTLE
PRECIPITATION FELL OVER THE SOUTHERN HALF OF WISCONSIN.

TEMPERATURES VARIED ACROSS THE STATE THANKS TO THE CLOUD COVER. HIGH
TEMPERATURES REACHED INTO THE MID TO UPPER 50S TO NEAR 60 ACROSS THE
NORTHERN HALF OF THE STATE...WHILE THE SOUTHERN HALF SAW UPPER 40S
TO LOWER 50S. THESE HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE BELOW SEASONAL AVERAGES.

WINDS WERE FROM THE EAST AND NORTHEAST DURING THE DAY...WITH SPEEDS
BETWEEN 5 TO 20 MILES PER HOUR. WIND GUSTS REACHED NEAR 25 MILES
PER HOUR IN SOME LOCATIONS.

.OVERNIGHT...

SKIES CONTINUED CLEARING ACROSS THE STATE DURING THE EVENING AS DRY
HIGH PRESSURE FILTERED INTO THE REGION. CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT
NORTHERLY WINDS LED TO ANOTHER COOL NIGHT. LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED
FROM THE MID 20S NORTH TO THE LOWER AND MID 30S SOUTH.

.FORECAST...

HIGH PRESSURE WILL TAKE HOLD OF THE REGION THIS WEEK. LOOK FOR QUIET
WEATHER AND MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES WITH A WARMING TREND THROUGH THE
WEEK. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB INTO THE 60S EACH DAY FOR MOST
AREAS...WITH 50S ALONG THE GREAT LAKES SHORELINES. LOWS WILL MAINLY
BE IN THE 30S. A FEW SHOWERS MAY AFFECT NORTHWEST WISCONSIN ON
TUESDAY AS A WEAK COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHERN PLAINS.
