AT 512 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
ISOLATED SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS NEAR MORIARTY...MCINTOSH...AND
ESTANCIA...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 5 MPH.

FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE BEEN OBSERVED WITH THE STORM JUST SOUTHWEST OF
MORIARTY. MORE SPECIFICALLY...COLD AIR FUNNEL CLOUDS THAT ALMOST
NEVER TOUCH DOWN.  COLD AIR FUNNEL CLOUDS ARE NOT UNCOMMON WITH
THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP BENEATH A CORE OF UNSEASONABLY COLD
TEMPERATURES ALOFT SIMILAR TO TODAY.

AREAS AFFECTED BY THIS STORM INCLUDE...ESTANCIA.

LOCALIZED GUSTY WINDS TO 55 MPH ARE POSSIBLE IN THE VICINITY OF THESE
FUNNEL CLOUDS. VERY LOCALIZED DAMAGE TO LIGHTWEIGHT STRUCTURES SUCH
AS OUT BUILDINGS...CARPORTS AND PATIO COVERS...IS POSSIBLE.
