AT 613 PM CDT...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER NEW ORLEANS...MOVING
EAST AT 50 MPH.

WIND GUSTS OF 50 TO 55 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.

THOSE ATTENDING THE JAZZ AND HERITAGE FESTIVAL ARE IN THE PATH OF
THIS STORM AND SHOULD PREPARE FOR THE EXPECTED WEATHER CONDITIONS.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

THIS STORM MAY INTENSIFY...SO BE CERTAIN TO MONITOR LOCAL RADIO AND
