These tools use simplified methods to communicate important facts to everyone from pre-schoolers to college-level students. The main goal of DataStreme is to train Weather Resource Education Teachers for grades K-12. DataStreme is a 13 week distance learning course. Teachers successfully completing the course will receive 3 semester hour graduate credits from the State University of New York at Brockport. The course also requires 3 group meetings. One meeting will be at the local National Weather Service Office. In southern Colorado, the group has a tour of the National Weather Service Office in Pueblo.
