- Weather Resources For Educators Available Online - The National Weather Service has tools available for educators to teach a number of subjects including science, math, geometry, geography, and biology. These tools use simplified methods to communicate important facts to everyone from pre-schoolers to college-level students. From understanding how tornadoes form to identifying cloud formations, these resources are easy to download for your convenience.

Kids and Teachers
DataStreme
The main goal of DataStreme is to train Weather Resource Education Teachers for grades K-12. DataStreme is a 13 week distance learning course. Teachers successfully completing the course will receive 3 semester hour graduate credits from the State University of New York at Brockport. The course also requires 3 group meetings. One meeting will be at the local National Weather Service Office. In southern Colorado, the group has a tour of the National Weather Service Office in Pueblo.
